Tesla model 3 rear wing installation steps: (Important, please follow the steps, your installation steps are very important)


1. Wipe the installation position with a towel to clean up the dust in the installation position
⁣2. Compare the installation position, and probably test the two sides to be symmetrical to each other
⁣3. Wipe the installation position with adhesion promoter
⁣4. Tear off a piece of tape at both ends, ready to install
⁣5. First fit the middle position of the rear wing to the vehicle and press hard
⁣6. Install both ends again, press and fit on the two sides
⁣7. While pressing and fitting, tear off the adhesive paper and gently tear it apart
⁣8. Carefully tear off the adhesive tape at the lower end of the tail wing
⁣9. Continue to press the rear wing hard, so that the rear wing is close to the vehicle, there is no gap
⁣10. Installation is complete


Installation tips: (important)


The following are two tips when installing, which will keep it in a better state.
1. When the temperature is lower than 10℃, the adhesion becomes weak ℃ (50℉), it will be better to use a hair dryer to heat the double-sided tape. After installation, the tape will not work at low temperatures.
2. Please do not touch water within 48 hours after pasting.

Happy with it

I was a little worried about how the quality would be at this price, but while not OEM quality, it was pretty damn good. Taped it up and put some reference strips, applied the adhesive promoter and heated it up after install. Test pulled a bit and I’m quite sure it’s not going anywhere. How you twist the top up on hatch matters as you need to choke up on the top to make the sides sit on car well. Very satisfied and considering the price, I’m ecstatic!!

Perfect!

IMO this spoiler looks better than the factory Tesla spoiler. The Tesla OEM spoiler fits on the edge lip of the trunk, this spoiler fits on top of the trunk up against the edge. Has a great shape to it, & the carbon fiber looks great, with just the right amount of gloss. I have received several compliments on how this looks.

Good fitment

Looks like the OEM style. easy to install, looks amazing on my Stealth Model 3 Performance (less stealthy now tho). The fit was 9/10, the very farthest edges (about 1 inch on both sides) i could not get to adhere to the car. Even with rigging up clamps overnight to bend the spoiler tips down to the curve of the car didnt fit 100% to the spoiler (shows how strong the carbon fiber is i guess). Its not noticeable unless you inspect very closely at a very specific low angle and I dont think its going anywhere since the 3M adhesive will hold up just fine. Still very happy for the price.
